CAM Prayer Requests   3/30/2026

Praise God for the flow of men from Calumet House who visit the CAM office and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Below are this week’s Prayer Requests from Christian Aftercare Ministries.

Thank you for your prayers and continued support!

Marsalis

Praise God for His Spirit working in the hearts of the men in jail who hear about Jesus.  In Bible study, Marsalis asked the question “Why did Jesus pray “My God my God, why have you forsaken me?” when he knew that was why He came to earth.”  Then he asked “What is the Gospel message?”  Pray for Marsalis’s heart to yield to Jesus.

Matt Roz

Praise God that Matt has been offered a job in his field as a bridge builder.  Pray for his heart to be opened to Jesus.  Pray that God would give him the desire of his heart as he wants to reconnect with his children.

James Curran

Continue to pray for James to be filled with the Holy Spirit and not be led astray by the hypocrisy of others.  Pray for his eye to heal from the injury at work.

Gary Coonrod

Praise God Gary continues to read his Bible.  You prayed for him last month.  He is currently reading Exodus and as he says “I am on my way to becoming a Christian”.  Pray for his salvation.  Pray for Gary to find a job, which will be difficult due to disabilities and prior charges.  This is causing him increased anxiety.

Thomas Hamel

Praise God Thomas heard the Gospel message.  He recently arrived at Calumet House.  Pray he will read the Bible he was given.  Praise God he has a job, helping remove snow.  Do you dare pray for snow?  Pray his heart will be moved to accept Jesus as his savior

Michael Giberson

Praise God Michael visited CAM today and found some nice clothing to meet his needs.  He is a resident at Helping Hands.  Pray that he attends Thursday’s Bible study and finds a local church where he can learn more about Jesus.

Michael Sutton

Praise God that Michael faithfully attends church with his two children at the Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester.  He is also a good steward with his limited finances and pays his bill.  Recently he lost his disability income and is struggling financially.  Pray for wisdom with finances.   Pray for a job to become available to him.  He has his CLD.  Pray he grows in his relationship with Jesus and is truly born again.

Phillip Berg

Praise God that Phillip was saved and baptized two years ago while in prison.  He is a graduate of Prison Fellowship Academy and was in regular attendance of Chapel Services and Bible Studies.  Phillip is a new resident at the Calumet HalfWay House in Manchester.  Pray that he finds a job and a local church where he can fellowship and grow his new faith.  Pray that he continues to keep in touch with CAM.
