CAM Prayer Requests 12/08/2025
Below is this week’s Prayer Requests from Christian Aftercare Ministries.
Thanks for your continued support!
Nick
As a sister in Christ, I come to you about my son Nick. He is 21 years old, a Christian young man, and currently in jail awaiting discovery in his case. He is terrified, and struggling to hold on. I ask for prayers to lift him up mentally as well as spiritually and physically.
We are praying for God‘s deliverance in his situation, or for His Mercy in whatever form He Sees fit. Please pray for the truth to come to life, for protection over My Son, Nick and peace over our family.
Al Lovely
Thank you for your prayers for Al. He is now moved into his apartment in Concord and continues to attend Sunday School and Church services at Immanuel Community Church.
Casey Paiva
Dominic Scarpa
Praise: for 20+ years of being alcohol free. Dominic is a member of Harvest Bible Church in Gilmanton Ironworks. He is currently painting at Helping Hands. Dominic met Paul Roussell 20 years ago at Calumet. He played an important role in the growth of CAM traveling with Paul to churches and sharing his testimony.
Pray: for Dominic to be blessed with painting work. Pray also for him to find two more reliable vehicles as his current ones have very high mileage
Josh Dion
Praise: for being drug and alcohol free over a year and for faithful attendance of Bible study and chapel while inside the walls. Praise for his recent transfer to the North End House where he will be able to attend Sunday School and Church at Immanuel Community Church in Concord
Pray: for Josh to find a full time job and an affordable car. Pray he attends church faithfully as well as all his drug rehab classes, that he remains drug free and avoids old friends.
Anthony Pedra
Praise: for 11 months of being drug free and for being accepted into the Helping Hands Outreach Center this week.
Pray: for Anthony to remain drug free and attend all his drug court classes. Pray for him to attend a bible preaching church
where he will hear the Gospel again and come to believe in Jesus Christ.
He has weak faith in a worldly god influenced by the media and Discovery Channel.
Al Lovely
Praise: Al has faithfully attended Immanuel Community Church for the past six months. He is on his way out of The North End House and has rented an apartment in Concord.
Pray: that this apartment will be approved by parole and Al will be permitted to move into his new living quarters.
Ryan Gobin
Praise: I had the opportunity to visit with Ryan today. He continues doing well at Calumet House. His testimony was featured in the August CAM Newsletter, and the second half will be in the December issue. He is working full time and attending the Starting Over program at Hope Recovery Center here in Manchester.
Pray: for Ryan to find a church where he will have healthy relationships and attend faithfully. Pray for a successful release in January to a sober living program followed by a move into his own apartment.
Denis Frediani
Praise: that Denis has just this week started mentoring men one on one for preparation to be released from the New Hampshire State Prison. This is such a blessing for the men on the inside as they make plans to re-enter our community and churches.
Pray: for wisdom for Denis to see the heart of these men. Pray that the men will be faithful in attending their sessions with Denis.
Steve Chilafoe
Praise: that Steve stopped in today looking for a winter coat and found one to fit him. He is a Christian and attends Manchester Christian Church. Steve got to know Paul Roussell back in 2005 when he was released from prison.
Pray: for Steve to find a job. He is a cook and has been out of work for nearly a year.
Donnie Lees
Praise: that Donnie heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ today in our office and needed some clothes.
Pray: that the Word he heard today will take root in his heart. Pray Donnie will stay clean of drugs and that he will attend Gospel Baptist Church on Sunday.
Valley Street Bible Study
Praise: we had twelve men attend Bible study today at Valley Street Jail. There was lots of great discussion on 1 John 5:1-11 regarding what it means to be a Christian.
Pray: that these men will continue to read and study their Bibles throughout the week. Pray they will seek Christian fellowship and go to church when released. Pray for Alex who will be released next week and wants to start attending church, that he will be given permission to do so.
Jeffery Fellows
Praise: That Jeff is out of Calumet House in his own apartment. He has a job and faithfully attends a Bible study at his church.
Pray: That his work schedule can be adjusted so he can regularly attend church on Sunday.
Duane Duguay
Praise: That Duane is living at Helping Hands Outreach Center and has been sober for six weeks. He says he has Jesus in his heart He has a child-like faith.
Pray: That Duane will attend church this weekend and not be overwhelmed.
Ramon and Gilberto
Praise: Today I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with Ramon and Gilberto.
They were receptive but made no commitment. They came to the CAM office from Calumet House.
Pray: The Holy Spirit uses these seeds to grow their faith in Jesus Christ. And pray they attend the Bible study at Calumet House.
Helping Hands
Praise: God for the Helping Hands Outreach Center. They provide CAM with office space at very low cost and together CAM and HH meet the spiritual and physical needs of many men in Manchester.
Pray: For Helping Hands as they seek to hire an office manager. They seek the right person to answer the phone and be an assistant to the executive director. Interested individuals should contact Helping Hands at 603-623-8778.
Mike Grady
Praise: Thank you, Mike, for 20+ years of faithful service to the men served by CAM.
