CAM Prayer Requests   10/21/2025

Bryan Brown

Praise:  Bryan started mentoring with a CAM volunteer inside the NHSP.  He hopes to be released next year.  He wants to change his life now for the better, surround himself with good people and go to church. 

Pray:  That Bryan regularly attends the Bible studies and chapel services while inside. Pray that he surrounds himself with people who love Jesus.  Pray he reads his Bible every day and learns what Jesus has done for him so Jesus can make lasting changes to his life.

 Mike Keegan

Praise:  We appreciate all the hours Mike has given to CAM organizing the men’s clothes.

Pray :  For Mike this week to have a successful surgery and recovery.  He is having a cholecystectomy.  Pray this resolves the health issues he has been experiencing.

 Valley Street Jail Bible Studies

Praise:  God for the opportunity to hold Bible Studies inside the Valley Street Jail.  Praise God for the good attendance.

Pray:  That these men will change the course of their life by studying God’s Word and putting their faith is Jesus Christ.  Pray that the men who profess to be Christians, will be a light shining in this dark place and bring encouragement and hope to those who are lost.

Russel Steiz

Praise: Russel has begun a mentoring relationship with a CAM volunteer on the inside.

Pray:  For Russel as he is not sure of his salvation.  He came to the CAM office in January to get clothes when he was at Calumet house.  However he has returned to prison.  He said he was not ready for the outside.  Pray that he continues to read his Bible, attend chapel and Bible study, continues with mentoring, and grows to fully trust in Jesus.

Yadiel Ortega

Praise: That Yadiel, a young man from Calumet, wants to grow in his Christian faith and take his daughter to Church.

Pray: That Yadiel connects with his best friend who is a solid Christian.  Pray that he finds a local church where he can establish fellowship, grow his faith, and take his daughter to learn about Jesus.

Matt Cousins

Praise:  Matt faithfully attends CenterPoint Church’s K/Men Bible study every Saturday.

 Tom Yeaton

Praise:  Tom, a born-again Christian, was recently released from NHSP and is already attending Grace Capital Church, Bible study, and Celebrate Recovery.
Pray:  Tom is facing several serious medical issues.  Pray Tom gets his social security and insurance established so these health problems can be addressed quickly.

 Mike and Ginny Grady

Praise:  Thank you, Mike, for 20+ years of faithful service to the men served by CAM.
Pray:  Ginny has been diagnosed with cancer.  Pray for healing, peace and wisdom as Mike and Ginny face decisions regarding treatment.

CAM Prayer Requests   8/25/2025

Kyle McCoy

Praise: Kyle is a born again Christian and attended chapel and Bible study while inside the walls.  
Pray:  That he continues his faithful walk with Jesus and finds employment.  Pray that he saves enough money for his move out of state to live with his stepdad.   

David Melanson 
Praise: That David Melanson visited CAM today even though he had no physical needs.  He is not a Christian.  
Pray:  That David will read the Bible from CAM and come to know and believe in Jesus Christ.  

Juan Velazquez
Praise:  Juan Velazquez visited CAM today and heard about Jesus.  He is not a Christian.  
Pray:  That Juan reads his Bible and comes to know more about Jesus.  Pray that Juan takes his mother to a Bible believing church when he moves to Hudson at the end of the month.  

Pray that during this new year with many different feelings surrounding family and friends, that this season will be one of Joy and Hope from being blessed by our Heavenly Father.

Please Pray for Joe who is in Africa with YRAM Ministry.

Pray for all the Men and Women who are incarcerated to find peace in their hearts and a deep relationship with Jesus.

Please pray for Dominic and his family in these challenging times for him in a Federal Prison to continue to look to Jesus on a daily basis.

Pray for David now back at home with wife to continue with his relationship with Pastor Carlsons Church

with the family programthat David is looking into.

Pray for the all the individuals at Helping Hands and for the Staff to continue to do a great job at mentoring to all moving forward with their lives.
