CAM Prayer Requests 1/6/2026
Below is this week’s Prayer Requests from Christian Aftercare Ministries.
Thanks for your continued support!
Valley Street Bible Study
There was no Bible Study at Valley Street Jail yesterday. After waiting forty minutes, I was told “there were no sign-ups” and they “shuffled inmates” to new pods. They couldn’t locate the two men who come regularly. Pray that Scott and Casey will be able to continue coming to Bible Study next week. Pray they will grow their faith and understanding of Jesus.
Haday
Haday is a young man from Israel now living in the states. He comes from a broken home and has suffered much abuse. But he’s never been in prison. He was recently taken advantage of financially. He came to CAM looking for clothes for his job at Shaw’s. He was very pleased to find two black shirts and underclothes. Someone from the Loudon Food Pantry told him about CAM. Thank you Loudon Food Pantry. Please pray for Haday. He has no interest in God or faith but he did listen to the Gospel. He says he has no friends. Pray he will heed the invitation to come to church and return to CAM.
Eric Anderson
Eric is a new resident at helping Hands coming from the Transitional Work Center in Concord. After 35 years in prison, he is facing many challenges. I talked with him today while he did his chores at the house. Pray for Eric’s mental health and pray he finds a job.
Bible Studies at Valley Street Jail
Praise God 11 men attended today’s Bible study. Several men read from the Gospel of John while others read scripture from their quiet time today. Two men even volunteered to lead the opening and closing prayers. Holding a Bible study in jail presents many challenges, (a lot of waiting). Pray that God raises up volunteers to meet these challenges. Pray that all the men in this jail will be given the opportunity to attend a Bible study.
John Young
Praise God that John came to Immanuel Community Church this past Sunday. He came to church with Josh Dion who you prayed for recently. John is a new Christian. Pray that he continues to attend church and Bible study and grow in his faith. Pray that both these men, who currently live at The North End House in Concord, remain drug free, find jobs and continue attending church.
David Hathaway
David stopped into the office today looking for clothes. He currently lives at Families In Transition in Manchester. Davis is a Christian fighting a battle with alcohol and he wants to win with the help of Jesus. He has recently been attending church and Bible study at First Baptist Church in Manchester. Pray that David remains alcohol free, attends church faithfully, and develops healthy relationships with other Christian men who can encourage him and hold him accountable.
All of the men in New Hampshire Prisons
At this Holiday time of year, the men in prison may feel very alone and abandoned being locked away in a cell. Yes, they deserve it, but pray that these men will reflect on what they have lost and see the truth of God’s eternal power and divine nature, which can be clearly seen in the creation around them. (Romans 1:20) Pray that they stop this path to destruction and renew their mind through the power of faith in Jesus Christ.
Pray for Nick
As a sister in Christ, I come to you about my son Nick. He is 21 years old, a Christian young man, and currently in jail.
He is terrified and struggling to hold on. I ask for prayers to lift him up mentally as well as spiritually and physically.
We are praying for God‘s deliverance in his situation, or for His Mercy in whatever form He Sees fit.
Please pray for the truth to come to life, for protection over My Son, Nick and peace over our family.
As Nick’s Mom, I need you to really pray hard. We are focusing on the scripture Matthew 18 verse 19. I’m begging you
to pray with us that these charges fall apart, and that we can prove that he did not intentionally do these
things and that their case is not as strong as they think. Please pray this with us.
Pray for David Kimball
David came into CAM today looking for a hoodie. He is a new resident here at Helping Hands Outreach. Praise God, he has been sober for six years and professed to be a Christian. He is a homeless veteran suffering from PTSD and wants to get his life back on track after losing everything. Pray that David will complete his planned therapy for PTSD. Pray he will attend the Bible study here at CAM and church this Sunday. Pray he will develop healthy relationships with other men for support and accountability.
Pray for Scott White
Praise God that Scott has come to every Bible study at Valley Street Jail and he has the desire to follow Jesus. He was a high functioning alcoholic which led to his incarceration and loss of everything. He believes he is innocent. Pray he learns to take full responsibility for his actions. Pray he has a change of attitude toward those in authority. Pray that his anger and sadness will decrease and he will find inner peace with Jesus.
Al Lovely
Thank you for your prayers for Al. He is now moved into his apartment in Concord and continues to attend Sunday School and Church services at Immanuel Community Church.
Terrell Watson
Casey Paiva
Denis Frediani
Praise: that Denis has just this week started mentoring men one on one for preparation to be released from the New Hampshire State Prison. This is such a blessing for the men on the inside as they make plans to re-enter our community and churches.
Pray: for wisdom for Denis to see the heart of these men. Pray that the men will be faithful in attending their sessions with Denis.
Pray: that these men will continue to read and study their Bibles throughout the week. Pray they will seek Christian fellowship and go to church when released. Pray for Alex who will be released next week and wants to start attending church, that he will be given permission to do so.
Helping Hands
Praise: God for the Helping Hands Outreach Center. They provide CAM with office space at very low cost and
together CAM and HH meet the spiritual and physical needs of many men in Manchester.
Pray: For Helping Hands as they seek to hire an office manager. They seek the right person to answer the phone and be an assistant to the executive director. Interested individuals should contact Helping Hands at 603-623-8778.
Mike Grady
Praise: Thank you, Mike, for 20+ years of faithful service to the men served by CAM.
